Team Registration
Unlike previous editions of the Championships, the registration cost for the Championship is the same, whether the FIMBA Accommodation Package is purchased or not. The registration fee for each team is one thousand six hundred Euros (€ 1,600), whether for women’s or men’s teams. In the case of early registration until December 31, 2023, the fee is reduced to one thousand five hundred Euros (€ 1,500), for both women’s and men’s teams. Each team can have a maximum of 12 players, one coach, and one assistant (Team Manager or Official). This totals to 14 people per roster who can sit on the bench. Additionally, one person in the capacity of a doctor or physiotherapist/masseur is allowed. Teams in the categories up to 50+ must have a minimum of 8 players; teams of 55+ and above must have a minimum of 10 players.
Additional Assistants and Accompanists
Up to four additional assistants (players or helpers) will be allowed in addition to the 14 team members. The registration fee for each assistant (player or helper) is one hundred Euros (€ 100), with the same benefits as the participant included in the Team Roster. The fee for each accompanist (typically family or friends) is fifty Euros (€ 50). They will receive the same advantages, discounts, gifts, free kit, and free entry to all matches and social events. They will not receive a participation certificate and cannot join the team benches during the games.
Registration without FIMBA Accommodation Package
In case teams decide not to rent the official package by staying at the hotels officially affiliated with the Organizer, they must pay an additional fee of one hundred Euros (€ 100) per person (for each player, coach, official, extra-assistant, or accompanist).
Services
All individuals who register regularly, either through the FIMBA Accommodation Package or by paying the additional unit fee as mentioned above, will have access to additional services including:
- Airport reception and assistance at Ancona or Rimini International Airport and group transfer to their hotel in Pesaro, including family or accompanists. Similarly, the service will be provided for transport at the end of the Championship, from the hotel to the airport.
- Free transportation throughout the event from their hotel to the game courts and vice versa; a private transportation service with half-hourly schedules will be established from the hotel and after matches. This is valid for both the team and family or accompanists.
- Participation in the Opening Ceremony and the parade.
- Free entry to the Social Party.
- Discounts for the use of public transport in Pesaro.
- Discounts for the use of public facilities, theaters, cinemas, amusement parks, museums, and affiliated restaurants, beach facilities (beach clubs, cabins, umbrellas, sunbeds).
- Local support from the Organizing Committee.
- Drinking water for players during matches.
- Welcome gift kit, promotional t-shirt, and other giveaways.
Registration Deadline
The first registration phase is until 12/31/2023. In this phase, the right to the registration fee discount is granted with payment until 12/31/2023. The ultimate deadline for team registrations is May 13, 2024. After this date, team registrations will not be accepted, as the draw will be conducted, groups will be formed, and the official game schedule will be established. The fee must be paid simultaneously with the registration and, in any case, by May 13, 2024.
Withdrawals and Refunds of Paid Fees
Teams, assistants, and accompanists who, for any reason, will not participate in the championship will receive a 100% refund of the registration fee (excluding expenses) until the period of one hundred twenty (120) days before the draw, which will take place within one month before the start of the competitions. Withdrawals or non-participation of teams within the period from one hundred twenty (120) days before the team draw to ninety (90) days before the start of the championship will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee (excluding expenses). In case of withdrawals or non-participation of teams within ninety (90) days before the championship, no refund will be made, and the paid registrations will remain to cover the championship expenses.

Payments – Bank Details
Payment for team registrations and fees for additional assistants and companions must be made exclusively to FIMBA International, for all teams, both European and non-European.
To proceed with the payment, there are two options, choose your preferred one:

To take advantage of the early registration fee promotion (€1,500 instead of €1,600), the deadline to receive the payment has been moved from 31/12/2023 to 15/01/2024.
